We have 2 fundraisers planned. One is a raffle. We will have tickets to deliver to each player to sell tickets. Once I know more, I will let you know. We will also do a Free Throw Challenge (Like Jump Rope for Heart).
We are still searching for a team sponsor(s). Let me know if anyone has any ideas about sponsors.
At this time, I need to collect $75.00 per player for their fees. Remember, the parents also pay for the uniforms and they will be in shortly. I don’t handle that.
Any fundraising the parents do, the first $125.00 will be returned to you. Basically, if you raise $125.00, it will not cost you anything for your child to play this year. If we get sponsor money, that is credited to the whole team and used to help pay for the tournaments. Our fees will only raise $1250.00. We need $1685.00 (if) we play all the proposed tournaments. The team registration fees are $272.50.
At the end of the season, if there is money left over, we will make a team donation to NIMS for the use of the gym. (If everyone agrees!!!)
The parents need to remember that they will have travel expenses to and from the tournament sites and it costs $7.00-$10.00 per person for a weekend pass to watch the games.
If we can raise enough money through fundraising and fees, we can keep the cost to a minimum.
I will have a Log Sheet that will list all money brought in and paid out throughout the season. A copy will always be available to you at any time.
